The Clifton Singers perform mostly unaccompanied music, from the Renaissance period or earlier to present-day compositions. We give concerts in and around Bristol, often in churches to a local audience. We welcome new members; more information is available here.
Performances have been given in the Lord Mayor's Chapel, St. Paul's Clifton, Clifton Cathedral, Holy Trinity, Hotwells, and many other places. The concerts are normally just before Easter, in June or July, and in December.

After 45 years of outstanding service as the Clifton Singers’ musical director, Nick Barlow has retired. We are hugely grateful to Nick for leading us through an enormous range of music, and so many memorable concerts, and we wish him a most enjoyable retirement.
In the absence of a director, the choir enjoyed a year of ‘guest conductors’ during which it has tackled music from the 16th to the 21st centuries, enjoyed a Russian music workshop and explored the sacred and secular, the popular and the obscure!
But now we can, with great pleasure, announce the appointment of
as the choir's musical director.
